You can help the Suites at Someren Glen make way for a new rehabilitation neighborhood and have some fun next week. The community will hold a small celebration and “demolition derby” at 1 p.m. on June 21 as construction begins to convert the old assisted living neighborhood into a new, state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Neighborhood featuring 18 private suites.

For a nominal donation, attendees will have the opportunity to swing a hammer to tear down a wall for this new beginning.

Donations will be used to support the project, which includes a new therapy gym, richly appointed occupational therapy space, new dining venue and much more.

The new rehabilitation neighborhood is anticipated to open next spring.
